If you just can’t get enough polar adventure, here’s a way to be in both the South and North Poles at once. Ice Stories: Dispatches from Polar Scientists, is a creative collaboration between San Francisco’s Exploratorium museum and international researchers. To celebrate the International Polar Year, the Exploratorium outfitted scientists with blogging tools and cameras. Through blogs, photos, webcasts and videos, the researchers share adventures, mishaps, and fascinating findings. Learn about the bears of summer, penguins, first descents under the sea ice, how to “read” snowflakes, and much more.
